My vision as Mayor of West Newton is based on public oriented goals that consist of an “open door” approach to address the needs and concerns of the citizens. This type of platform is necessary for public centered problem solving, so active target areas may be identified and resolved. Since the demographic population of West Newton is diverse, this approach will ensure cultural diversity and equality regardless of stereotypical prejudices. In addition, I plan to focus on grant procurement to enhance public and officer safety, law enforcement involvement in child safety programs, and support for community programs to enhance family interaction without additional tax burden to the residents. I will strive to produce a positive working relationship with members of council and perform Mayoral duties with integrity and responsibility.
